For Filmmakers

Know if your DCP will play before the festival finds out for you.

You made the film. You shouldn't have to become a DCP mastering expert to get it on screen. DCP Gateway checks your package for the errors that actually cause festival rejections, and fixes them if it doesn't pass.

Why This Happens

Most DCP failures aren't creative problems. They're plumbing problems.

A DCP should not be an adventure. But a package that plays fine on your laptop can still fail on a real cinema server: audio mixed without theatrical channel routing in mind, subtitle tracks that don't ingest correctly, metadata typos that silently break an otherwise perfect file. These stay invisible until a projector rejects them, usually the night of your screening.

You don't need a mastering house

Full-service DCP houses are built for studio budgets. If you just need to know your package is festival-ready, that's a much smaller job, and a much smaller bill.
